Accumulation Builder Select Indexed Universal Life

Accumulation Builder Select Indexed Universal Life is a permanent life insurance policy offering:

  • Strong death benefit protection guarantees and options for added security
  • Built-in enhancements to help maximize cash value accumulation potential
  • Multiple ways to access policy cash value.1

Cash Value Accumulation

In addition to solid death benefit protection, Accumulation Builder Select Indexed Universal Life (IUL) provides strong cash value accumulation potential with downside protection. Accumulation Builder Select helps you build cash value in multiple ways, including:

  • Indexed account options that offer attractive growth potential tied to the performance (excluding dividends) of either the S&P 500®Index1 or the S&P Global Broad Market IndexTM and guaranteed not to fall below 1 percent.1
  • A fixed account that earns a fixed interest rate that is locked in for 12 months and guaranteed never to fall below 1 percent per year.
  • A 12-month dollar cost averaging account that places funds in a fixed account that credits a competitive interest rate and then transfers a portion of the funds into the Indexed Account(s) each month.3 Transferring funds into the Indexed Accounts over 12 months can help smooth out market timing fluctuations.

Plus Accumulation Builder Select includes two guaranteed features specifically designed to help maximize the policy’s cash value accumulation potential.

Complete Access to Your Cash Value

You have complete access to your policy cash value and can withdraw or borrow funds from your policy for any reason—in most cases, income-tax-free.

This product is not offered in New York.

All guarantees are based upon the claim-paying ability of the issuer.

1 Accessing cash values may result in surrender fees and charges, may require additional premium payments to maintain coverage and will reduce the death benefit and policy values. Making loan repayments can help protect the policy death benefit and values. Loans are income-tax-free as long as the policy is not a “Modified Endowment Contract” (MEC) and the policy remains in effect until death. Withdrawals may be taxable, and can cause the policy to become a “MEC.” You should consult a qualified tax professional for tax advice based upon your own personal situation.
